2023 Louisiana School Safety Summit
The Louisiana Department of Education, in coordination with the Louisiana State Police, Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, the Louisiana Center for Safe Schools and Motorola will host the 2023 Louisiana School Safety Summit on
Thursday, June 15 in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This free event aims to bring school system leaders, local and state law enforcement, governmental agencies, and mental health providers together for an opportunity to share and learn best practices around school safety and emergency preparedness.

The Louisiana School Safety Summit will take place at the Raising Cane’s River Center, 275 S River Rd., Baton Rouge, LA.

Registration for this event will be on a first come, first served basis. As space is limited, we encourage you to register early.

All school systems have 1 seat reserved for the system leader or their designee. Please email healthyschools@la.gov for more information around accessing your system’s ticket.
