LOUISIANA K-3 STUDENTS SHOW SIGNIFICANT READING PROGRESS

The Louisiana Department of Education today released end-of-year literacy screener results for students in grades K–3. The data reveal a 17-point increase in the percentage of students reading on or above grade level from the start to the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
